Introduction

The Endurance Rally Association has organised over 60 International events, many of them in Africa. We last came to Africa with the Classic Safari in 2008. The 2011 edition event builds on our many years experience to put together a very special event.

It’s a rally with a strong social content, staying at the very best accommodation with maximum comfort, good friends, fine dining and a unique atmosphere under vast Africa skies.

The Trans-Am Challenge

From Dar es Salaam to Cape Town

The exhilarating driving days, spiced with optional Time Trials for those with a competitive spirit, are superb with scenery varying from forest to desert taking in the Indian Ocean, beaches, mountains, farms and vast plains, not forgetting the spectacular wildlife.

During the planning stages Martin and Sue Clark made two separate survey trips to Africa. Their route survey reports provide a good insight to what lies ahaed for the participants.
