Endurance Rally Association events
We have organised 54 major events, in more than 50 different countries around the world, and have been responsible for some widely-acclaimed initiatives in rallying, taken up by others. As well as being responsible for kick-starting the entire historic rally movement back in the 1980s, we instigated the all new endurance rallying scene.
When it comes to long-distance events, past-experience counts for a lot and nobody has more past experience than the Endurance Rally Association – several members of the team have been organising events since 1988, and before that, were competitors themselves.
The Endurance Rally Association is affiliated to the Royal Automobile Club’s Motor Sports Association and is a member of the British Federation of Historic Vehicle Clubs. We have organised over 25 events sanctioned by the FIA and more than 20 events under the umbrella of FIVA.
From the empty plains of South Africa, the sands of the Sahara Desert to Dakar, across northern Canada and America, from London to China, Peking to Paris, and the first-ever Around the World in 80 Days, we have been there, helping hundreds of competitors. Our annual Training-Day Starter Rally, founded in 1980, has helped over 1,000 newcomers get going. When it comes to long-distance rallying nobody does it better.
