Why Choose the Endurance Rally Association?

Why Choose the ERA?

Driving to the four-corners of the Earth requires the very best levels of support – the Endurance Rally Association, with nearly 70 events behind them, provide a highly-experienced Organisation supporting Entrants with top-flight back up. From Outer Mongolia to the Kalahari, from the foot of Mount Everest to the Grand Canyon, the E.R.A. supports Entrants with a highly-experienced team – driving carefully researched, well-planned routes.

  • A Wealth of Experience

Nobody has more experience or does it better than the ERA. From the empty plains of South Africa, the sands of the Sahara Desert, Peking to Paris, and the first-ever Around the World in 80 Days, we have been there, helping hundreds of competitors.

  • Amazing Support

Out in the field, our highly qualified Support Teams include the best 'Bush Mechanics' in rallying to keep your car healthy - and if you come a cropper for any reason, our Medical Staff include trained Doctors & Surgeons with the right equipment for emergencies in our specialised vehicles.

  • Incredible Locations

Across countries and continents and through some of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth, the ERA have organised fantastic events. From a basecamp at the foot of Mount Everest through to the Skeleton Coast of Namibia - once in a lifetime experiences abound.

  • Chosen by Legends

The ERA organised the famous Pirelli Classic Marathon - the first international rally ever for classic cars. It was the final victory for Paddy Hopkirk in his Mini Cooper, and Stirling Moss won Alpine Cups along the way. British Rally Champion John Sprinzel, Timo Makinen and Roger Clark have also driven and enjoyed ERA events.

  • We Love a Challenge

The first rally to cross Tibet, the first to enter Nepal, the first to rally through Mongolia and the first timed event from the top of Africa to Cape Town - these are just some of our groundbreaking achievements. We also organised and ran the longest rally in motoring history - 31,000 kms around the world in 80 days.....

  • Something for Everyone

If it's endurance you're looking for then you're in the right place! If you're looking for an event that is slightly less taxing, some training to become a better navigator, or even if you fancy trying out a one-day event, we can help with that too.
